Motion from Session…
At a special session meeting the elders of IPC voted to approve the following motion effective immediately…
While encouraging distancing, handwashing and avoiding worship activities that involve physical contact (passing of the peace) Session would like to resume singing while sitting, standing for various prayers, and the removal of pew ribbons. We will continue to do single packaged communion and collect offerings in the back of the church. The Worship Team will make any future decisions regarding changes to worship service protocols.
We will begin singing Sunday, July 4 during our outdoor courtyard service. Rev. Wigger and Music Director Jake Briggs will choose a couple songs to start us off with, as we ease into full singing again!
We thank everyone for their faithfulness throughout this pandemic, and for your thoughtfulness for this community. We could not make these changes without you.
